Understanding Portfolio Management Services with Samar Asset Management.
PMS is a professional investment service where a dedicated portfolio is managed on behalf of an investor, based on their investment objectives, risk profile, and financial goals.
In PMS, securities are held directly in the investor's demat account and portfolios can be customized. Mutual Funds pool money from multiple investors into a common portfolio managed collectively.
Resident Individuals, NRIs, HUFs, Companies, Trusts, Partnership Firms, LLPs, and other eligible entities can invest in PMS, subject to regulatory requirements.
Samar AMC can offer all 3 types of PMS: 1. Discretionary PMS: the portfolio manager makes all investment decisions on behalf of the investor. 2. Non-Discretionary PMS: the investor retains decision-making authority, while the manager offers recommendations. 3. Advisory PMS: the portfolio manager provides investment advice, but the execution remains with the investor.
As per SEBI regulations, the minimum investment amount in PMS is ₹50 lakh.
